About Summit Midstream

Summit Midstream is an energy infrastructure company based in Houston, Texas. It builds, owns and operates systems that gather natural gas, crude oil and produced water from wells in unconventional basins across the United States, mainly shale formations. It also processes natural gas and transports it through the Double E Pipeline in the Permian Basin. Its customers are oil and gas producers, which it serves under contracts that pay for services rather than tie its revenue to commodity prices.
