About SpyGlass Pharma

SpyGlass Pharma is a biopharmaceutical company based in Irvine, California, that develops long lasting drug delivery products for people with chronic eye conditions. Its lead product candidate is an intraocular lens fitted with drug pads that releases bimatoprost, a medicine already approved for topical use, to lower eye pressure in patients with glaucoma or ocular hypertension. The lens is designed to be implanted during routine cataract surgery, so its main customers are cataract surgeons and the patients they treat. The product is still in clinical trials and is not yet approved for sale.
