About Mesoblast

Mesoblast is a biotechnology company based in Melbourne, Australia, that develops cell therapies made from mesenchymal cells taken from healthy adult bone marrow. Its lead product, Ryoncil, is approved in the United States to treat a severe complication of bone marrow transplants in children and is sold to physicians at transplant centers. The company is also developing these cells for other inflammatory conditions, including chronic low back pain and heart failure. The cells can be given without donor matching and are produced at industrial scale.
