About Curis
Curis is a biotechnology company based in Lexington, Massachusetts, that is developing emavusertib, an oral small molecule drug candidate for blood cancers. The drug is designed to block two cell signaling proteins, IRAK4 and FLT3, which help certain leukemias and lymphomas grow and survive. Curis is testing emavusertib in clinical studies for patients with relapsed or refractory primary central nervous system lymphoma and for patients with chronic lymphocytic leukemia, both in combination with other cancer drugs. The company does not yet have an approved product for sale, so its patients are those enrolled in its clinical trials.
