Our Core Commitment
StreetAlpha will never sell, rent, trade, or share your personal information with third parties for any commercial purpose. Your data is used solely to operate the platform and provide services to you. That is the whole policy in one sentence — the rest is the detail.

Information We Collect

We collect only what is necessary to provide you with a functioning, personalized service.

  • Account information — your email address and a hashed password when you register.
  • Subscription data — your plan tier and billing status, processed through Stripe. We do not store full card numbers or payment details on our servers.
  • Usage data — pages visited, features accessed, and general interaction patterns, used to improve the platform and diagnose issues.
  • Communication — any messages you send to support or feedback channels.
  • Mobile number (optional) — collected only if you enable SMS trade alerts on the AI Pro plan. Used exclusively to deliver the alerts you have subscribed to. See Section 09.

We collect a mobile phone number only if you voluntarily enable SMS trade alerts on the AI Pro plan (see Section 09). We do not collect your name, physical address, or any financial account information beyond what Stripe requires to process a subscription.

How We Use Your Information

Your information is used exclusively to:

  • Create and maintain your StreetAlpha account
  • Deliver the features and dashboards you have subscribed to
  • Send transactional emails — account confirmation, password reset, and subscription receipts
  • Send trade alerts if you have opted into the AI Pro alert service
  • Respond to support inquiries
  • Diagnose bugs and improve platform performance

We do not use your data to build advertising profiles, target you with third-party offers, or run behavioral analytics for any purpose outside of operating StreetAlpha.

What We Will Never Do

This is an unconditional commitment, not subject to carve-outs or future policy changes without explicit notice.

Sell your personal data to any third party
Share your email or account details with advertisers or data brokers
Rent your contact information to marketing lists
Allow third parties to track you across the platform for their own purposes
Use your trading behavior or activity for external profiling

Third-Party Services

StreetAlpha uses a small number of trusted infrastructure providers to operate the platform. These providers process data strictly on our behalf and under our instructions — they are not permitted to use your data for their own purposes.

  • Stripe — payment processing. Subject to Stripe's Privacy Policy.
  • Cloudflare — hosting, CDN, and DDoS protection. Traffic may pass through Cloudflare's edge network.
  • Anthropic — AI model inference powering the Alpha Bots trading personas. Queries are processed per Anthropic's data handling policies and are not used to train their models under our commercial agreement.
  • Twilio — SMS message delivery for AI Pro subscribers who have opted into trade alerts. Your mobile number and message contents are processed by Twilio only to deliver the alerts you have requested. Subject to Twilio's Privacy Policy.

No other third parties receive your personal information.

Data Retention & Deletion

Your account data is retained for as long as your account is active. If you close your account, we will delete your personal information within 30 days, except where we are required to retain records for legal or financial compliance purposes (such as billing history).

Security

Passwords are hashed and never stored in plaintext. All data transmission is encrypted via HTTPS. Our infrastructure runs on Cloudflare's platform with enterprise-grade security controls. Access to production data is restricted to authorized personnel only.

No system is perfectly secure. If you suspect unauthorized access to your account, contact us immediately and change your password.

Cookies

StreetAlpha uses a session cookie to keep you logged in. We do not use advertising cookies, third-party tracking pixels, or analytics tools that phone home to external services. There is no cookie consent banner because there is nothing to consent to beyond what is strictly necessary to run the site.

Your Rights

You have the right to access, correct, export, or delete the personal information we hold about you. To exercise any of these rights, contact us at the address below and we will respond within 14 days.

SMS Alert Data

If you are an AI Pro subscriber and choose to enable SMS trade alerts, we collect and process the following additional data:

  • Mobile phone number — the number you provide to receive alerts.
  • Express consent record — the timestamp, IP address, consent version, and user agent captured at the moment you agreed to receive SMS messages. Retained as a compliance audit trail for as long as your account exists and for a reasonable period thereafter.
  • Subscription preferences — which AI Auto Pilot personas you have enabled for SMS alerts.
  • Delivery logs — records of messages sent, including timestamp, delivery status, and any inbound replies (such as STOP, HELP).

This data is used exclusively to:

  • Deliver the trade alerts you have opted into
  • Honor opt-out requests (STOP, UNSUBSCRIBE, etc.) promptly
  • Respond to HELP requests
  • Demonstrate valid consent to wireless carriers and regulatory bodies if requested
  • Diagnose delivery issues

We will never share your mobile number with any third party for their own marketing, advertising, or any purpose unrelated to operating the SMS alert service you have subscribed to. No mobile information, including phone numbers and consent records, will be sold, shared, or transferred to affiliates or third parties for promotional or marketing purposes.

We use Twilio, Inc. as our SMS gateway provider. Twilio processes your mobile number and outbound message contents solely to deliver messages on our behalf under a standard commercial agreement.

You can revoke SMS consent at any time by replying STOP to any alert, toggling off the SMS switches in your account settings, or emailing [email protected]. After revocation your phone number remains on file (in a suppressed state) only as part of the consent audit log, and will be deleted if you close your account in full.

Changes to This Policy

If we make material changes to this policy, we will notify registered users by email at least 14 days before the changes take effect. Continued use of the platform after that date constitutes acceptance of the updated policy. The effective date at the top of this document reflects the most recent revision.
